Selam fra Eritrea blev Miss Africa Danmark 2009
Lørdag blev Afrika fejret for fulde gardiner ved et show i Store Vega i København og her blev Selam vinder af Miss Africa Danmark 2009.
På 2. og 3. pladsen kom Betty, der stammer fra Zambia, og Irene, som kommer fra Uganda.

Selam er 19 år. Hendes forældre kommer fra Eritrea og Sudan.

The UN Security Council has voted unanimously to end its peacekeeping border mission to Ethiopia and Eritrea. The UN withdrew most of its 1.700 peacekeepers in February after Eritrea withdrew its support for the mission, BBC online reports Wednesday.
The vote ending the Eritrea-Ethiopia mission is formally recognising the reality on the ground.

Eritrea i brud på våbenhvile
